Brain Fog (part 1)

Hello, in this post I want to share more info about my “Brain Fog” problem (its symptoms).

I am experiencing Brain Fog for over 15 years (since I was a teenager).

Here are my physical feelings of it:

  1. Pressure in the frontal lobes and higher. Sometimes it feels as if there is numbness (heaviness)
  2. Lasts almost all day, every day (sometimes stronger and sometimes weaker)
  3. The pressure increases for a few seconds after moving the head, after bending or while walking (moving in space)
  4. Usually appears in the morning 5-10 minutes after waking up. But sometimes (if I had an intense dream) it appears right after waking up. If I slept little at night, then in the morning I have a strong brain fog
  5. Loud sounds (TV, music, voices, screaming) amplify the fog
  6. Communication with people increases the fog and creates drowsiness
  7. There may be attacks of drowsiness and frequent yawning after communication or work
  8. Fog creates a feeling of fatigue and decreases the motivation to do anything
  9. There is a little heaviness in the eyelids (I want to close my eyes)
  10. It gets easier after taking a nap
  11. If there was a strong fog during the day, then in the evening it gets a bit weaker and head starts to hurt a little
  12. If brain fog is strong, my balance becomes a little worse and I can feel nauseous a bit (happens rarely)

Mental feelings:

  1. It is difficult to process information, think, plan and make decisions (so I feel like an indecisive idiot)
  2. Brain fog increases when I am thinking, working intellectually
  3. If I take a small break outside in silence (or meditate), the ability to process information returns. But only for 5-10 minutes, and then I need a break again. The pressure on the brain does not decrease during breaks.
  4. Feeling as if my consciousness is in a fog, as if this world is unreal (movie “Matrix”)
  5. Sometimes it feels like I’m not quite here. Maybe it’s a dream?
  6. Sometimes it feels like not all shots are perceived by my brain/eyes when I am moving

Other things that I experience:

  1. Rarely but there is a ringing in my ears
  2. I hear a quiet white noise in silence
  3. Usually I have cold hands and feet (cold sweat)
  4. I have enlarged liver and a gallbladder curvature
  5. My nervous system is prone to anxiety, melancholic, sensitive
  6. Periodically I feel tired for several days. If I rest at this time, it gives energy for a few days, and then I feel tired again
  7. Sometimes (in the sun or during emotional / physical stress) my head and back itch
  8. Problematic skin – acne on the back (mostly)
  9. Sometimes there is a feeling of tension in the back of the head and it creates a slight discomfort
  10. Once per 2-3 months there are severe pains in the back of the head (migraine?)
  11. Sometimes feel pain in the knee joints, clicks, there is a noise when squatting
  12. Vision is not very clear from afar
  13. Chronic tonsillitis
  14. The right ventricle of the heart is enlarged

I have created this list of symptoms in order to structure my problems.

And I am using it every time when I am consulting with doctors.

In my next post I plan to share the results of my medical examinations.

That is all for now 🙂

Have a great day!
